Beautiful signed studio art glass vase by Scott Simmons of Sunrise Glassworks (Wisconsin). Features a hand-blown design with a cobalt blue rim, soft opal body, and applied amber/golden web-like trailing. Height: approximately 11 inches. Top rim diameter: approximately 6 inches. Base: Ground and polished pontil, signed/etched by the artist with edition/date mark. Circa late 1990s–2000s. Scott Simmons was a Wisconsin studio glass artist known for his bold colors and layered surface designs. His works were sold through galleries and private commissions, and are now collected since Sunrise Glassworks is no longer active. Condition: Excellent overall, with no chips, cracks, or repairs. Minor shelf wear on base consistent with age. Signature is hand-etched and visible under light.
