Maria’s Closet

Maria’s Closet works to empower young women one gown at a time by inviting hundreds of high school students from low-income households to their no-cost prom shopping experience. They also award scholarships to hardworking and inspirational young women.

For annual gown giveaway events in March, volunteers can help to set up and break down and act as "personal shoppers" or "stylists" for invited guests. Throughout the year, volunteers can help with fundraising and planning and with organizing, inspecting, and inventoring dress donations.
