Ronald McDonald House (Long Beach)

The Long Beach Ronald McDonald House is open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, for the families of children facing critical, often life-threatening, illnesses. The Long Beach Ronald McDonald House provides a place to stay and compassionate support so that families can focus all of their energy on caring for their child. By allowing parents to stay close to their child’s hospital, the Long Beach House enables parents to better communicate with their child’s medical team and improves adherence to complicated treatment plans.

Volunteers create a warm, welcoming environment for families by cleaning and organizing shared areas of the Long Beach House, restocking supplies, and completing administrative tasks. Ronald McDonald House Charities also encourages participation in the annual Walk for Kids at Shoreline Park in Long Beach.
