Description

South Coast Botanic Garden is one of the world’s first botanical gardens to be developed over a sanitary landfill. The Garden models creative land reclamation and environment improvement for all to share. South Coast Botanic Garden works to connect all to the wonders of nature and create experiences that inspire stewardship and sustainability.

The South Coast Botanic Garden is always in need of gardening help! After completing some basic training, volunteers can join Green Team or Hort Support to work alongside the expert gardening team. Learning & Engagement Team volunteers can help with seasonal exhibits. Volunteers can also support their Special Events Team at one of their public programs, such as Lunar New Year or Dogtoberfest.
